Technical difficulties FAQ (PC)

Sometimes you can run into technical difficulties while playing Throne Rush. This article provides basic troubleshooting steps that help solve most technical issues.

Performance issues: game crashes, freezes, lags, or doesn't start.
    • Check if your computer meets the minimum requirements of the game:
      • CPU released in 2016 or newer;
      • GPU released in 2013 or newer;
      • 8 GB of RAM;
      • An up-to-date browser;
      • Windows 8.1.
    • Clear your browser cache. It will help your browser update all outdated or corrupted files:

      1. Exit the game and leave the browser open.
      2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
      3. Set the Time range setting to All time.
      4. Put a checkmark in the Cached images and files option.
      5. Click the Clear data button.
    • Check if hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser. It is important to keep this option enabled in order to give your browser permission to use your graphics card to process graphics in the game:

      1. Click mceclip0.png in the top right corner of the screen. Then click Settings.
      2. Type "hardware acceleration" in the search bar at the top of the page.
      3. Toggle on the Use hardware acceleration when available option.
      4. Relaunch your browser to set the new parameters.

    • Try to temporarily disable your AdBlock or other blocking plugins. Sometimes, even antivirus can block payment windows by mistake.
    • Your operating system and browser should be up-to-date to ensure stable performance. Check if there are any updates to your current browser or try a different browser.

      Important

      Internet Explorer is a browser that is no longer supported. If you are using this browser and experiencing technical issues, it might be good to switch to Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

    • If none of the above helps, contact Support. Describe the issue you have encountered in detail. Our specialists will review your inquiry. When creating your inquiry, attach DxDiag.

      DxDiag is a file showing technical configuration of your system. This information will help to find the reason for the issue you are experiencing.

      Windows MacOS
      Press the Windows + R keys.
      Type in dxdiag and press Enter.
      Wait for the diagnostic tool to open and then press Save All Information at the bottom of the window.
      You will receive a .txt file. Attach this file to your inquiry.
Internet connection issues.
  • If you use VPN services, try temporarily disabling all of them and then check if your connection has become better.
  • If you do not use VPN services, install and enable a VPN plugin and then check if your connection has become better.
  • Try contacting your Internet service provider. Send them a direct link to the game and ask if there are any restrictions from their side that can be eliminated.
  • If none of the above helps, contact Support. Our specialists will review your inquiry.
Hotkey shortcuts.
The game supports several hotkeys.
  • F enables full-screen mode.
  • E enables the Edit mode.
  • Esc closes an active in-game window or disables full-screen mode.
In Arena battles:
  • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 select the type of warriors you send on the opponent's map.
  • Q activates a VIP spell.
  • W, E, R, T activate other spells.
  • Spacebar skips an opponent when searching for an opponent. Skipping costs gold.
  • If you want to land warriors around an area quickly, press Left Shift and Left Mouse Button at the location where the first warrior should land, and without releasing Left Shift and Left Mouse Button, start moving the mouse along the line where you want the units to land
